Safe charging
Integrated in the holder is an efficient charging circuit (
suitable for 12V & 24V ) which powers and charges your device. This will keep your device charged and ready for use in- and outside your car.
Ready for use
The holders are delivered with everything needed to use it right away. Use the window mount to install the holder on your windscreen, plug in the cigarettelgihter adaptor and you are ready to go.
Protection
The design of the Carcomm Mobile iPod / iPhone / iPad Cradle ensures that your device is protected and sits firmly in the cradle while you are driving. To let the cradle blend in with the interior of your car the color of the cradle matches the dashboard ( dark grey ) with the added bonus that it won’t attract attention.
Vehicle integration
The Cradle has a long cable (1,5m) which ends in a 8 pin Mini-DIN connection. This connection is suitable for several cables, the set comes standard with an Audio/Video-out* cable and a 12-24V cigarettelighter adapter. The AV cable is used to connect the cradle to the in-car entertainment system.
Integrated charging system
By integrating the charging system into the cradle you can very easely built the cradle into your vehicle. Simply remove the cigarettelighter plug and use the included cable with in-line fuse to hard-wire the cradle into the vehicle.
Installing the cradle
To mount the cradle into the vehicle you can make use of the included rotating swivel-mount. This can be mounted in the vehicle with the included screws. There are also a variety of other mounting solutions available like for example dashmounts and safety-mounts.
The cradle is delivered with all materials necessary to hard-wire it into a vehicle. |

Dashmounts

If you want to mount your cradle in you car but you don't want to use a window-mount, a Dashmount is a good alternative. This metal mount is mostly installed between the car-stereo and dashboard. This results in the cradle and device always being in reach and in sight.

Safety-Mounts

If you don't want to make use a window-mount you could make use of a Safety-Mount. This plastic mount is easily installed in your vehicle, usually where the air-vents are where you simply click it between the vent and dashboard. There are also versions available where it is installed on the center-console.
